These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Finchk website and beta application operated by Finchk LLC (“Finchk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Finchk, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity under it.

Beta service

Finchk is currently offered as a beta service. Features may change, be incomplete, or be unavailable from time to time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service as we continue to develop it.

Connected financial accounts

Finchk uses Plaid to enable you to connect supported financial accounts. By connecting an account, you authorize Finchk and Plaid to access and process the account information needed to provide the service. Your use of Plaid may also be subject to Plaid’s terms and policies.

Not financial advice

Finchk provides informational tools only. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. Information shown through the service may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. You are responsible for your own financial decisions and should consult a qualified professional when appropriate.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it except where permitted by law, or use it for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

Third-party services

The service may depend on or link to third-party services. Finchk is not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, or practices.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Finchk LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Finchk at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if the beta service is discontinued.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
